Position Description

Advanced Energy United is currently seeking a Content Marketing Associate to directly support our organization’s communications and marketing efforts. This position will heavily involve developing and editing written content across United’s digital platforms to effectively tell our story as an association of businesses united in our mission to achieve 100% clean energy in America. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with a keen eye for detail and a passion for crafting engaging content that resonates with our target audiences and aligns with our brand voice and messaging.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and/or edit high-quality, original written content for United’s website, blog, social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Threads), email campaigns, and other platforms.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to execute content marketing strategies that align with United’s organizational or policy goals.
  • Help maintain and manage organization websites, providing necessary content updates and enhancements in a timely manner.
  • Provide day-to-day support for United’s marketing activities, such as webinar assistance and administrative tasks.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and content is delivered to the highest standard.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience in digital content creation, copywriting, or marketing, preferably in an office setting
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge and familiarity with marketing automation tools
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling

Location: REMOTE (East Coast-based or willingness to work in Eastern time zone strongly preferred)
Salary: starting at $60,000
Start Date: July/August 2024
