Working alongside experienced engineers, you will support the design, calculation, documentation, and delivery of projects, ensuring solutions meet customer requirements and industry standards. You will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while gaining exposure to technologies such as CAFS, Inert Fire Suppression Systems, Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs), and Chemical Injection Packages.

This role offers excellent training and development opportunities for someone looking to build a successful career in mechanical engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with project planning, including timelines, budgets, and identifying potential risks or scope changes.
  • Produce and review engineering calculations, designs, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Prepare project documentation, including BOMs, P&IDs, test procedures, reports, functional design specifications, and operation & maintenance manuals.
  • Support the CAD team with equipment fabrication and structural design activities.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams, customers, and stakeholders, resolving engineering queries where required.
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), system testing, troubleshooting, and customer demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, production, quality, sales, and other key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support the sales team during the tendering and bid preparation stages by providing technical input.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, understanding their requirements and delivering effective technical solutions.
