Role Overview

As an AI Engineer, you will design, build, and harden AI and LLM-based solutions that move from prototype to production. You will work across data pipelines, model integrations, and enterprise workflows to deliver practical applications for web, portal, marketing, and commerce use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of defined AI initiatives, from data preparation and pipeline design through deployment and support.
• Design and implement AI agents and LLM-enabled applications that are reliable, scalable, and easy to maintain.
• Build integrations with enterprise APIs, data sources, and services to connect AI capabilities with business systems.
• Create and manage pipelines for prompts, knowledge assets, and model components, including versioning, testing, and CI/CD.
• Implement evaluation harnesses, telemetry, safety checks, and automated quality controls for AI solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in discovery, pilot, and scaling phases to deliver business value.
• Document solution patterns, share code samples and quick-start guidance, and support upskilling across the team.
• Track practical outcomes such as cycle time, adoption, quality, and defect reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 to 5 years of software engineering experience focused on AI, automation, backend services, or integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, Azure AI Foundry or Studio, Azure OpenAI, vector retrieval, tool-call orchestration, or agent frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in .NET/C#, Python, TypeScript, or a similar language.
• Experience working with REST or GraphQL APIs, event-driven patterns, and secure authentication methods.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright or similar frameworks.
• CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Infrastructure as code experience with Terraform or Bicep.
• Understanding of responsible AI, data governance, and secure software delivery.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Sitecore or other enterprise web platforms.
• Experience in product-driven or technology-driven environments.
• Familiarity with rapid prototyping, cloud technologies, or backend development.
• Master’s degree in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
