Amogy is looking for a Recruiter to support our immediate hiring needs across technical and business functions. Our company is scaling rapidly, and we need an experienced recruiter who can efficiently source, interview, and close top talent in engineering (mechanical, chemical, electrical, and systems engineering), business development and other G&A functions within the oil, gas, renewable and clean energy space.
This role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic startup environment, has a track record of quickly hiring and closing quality candidates, and ideally has experience with immigration processes related to hiring international talent. This role is a 6-month contract position, 30 hours a week to start off and will be accessed if an extension, increase in hours and/or permanent employment is necessary.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own the full-cycle recruiting process, from outreach to offer negotiation, ensuring a fast and efficient hiring experience.
- Partner with hiring managers to stay abreast of hiring needs and priority roles.
- Effectively and actively source, screen and interview applicants for technical skills and ability.
- Utilize creative and strategic sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, direct sourcing, and non-paid recruiting tools.
- Track and manage candidates through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and provide regular hiring updates.
- Schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers and interview team.
- Partner with internal team at large to arrange interviews and provide travel arrangements as necessary.
- Ensure an excellent candidate experience by providing timely communication and interview feedback.
Requirements
The minimum requirements we seek:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in technical recruitment in the oil & gas, chemical processing, automotive, aerospace, clean energy and/or maritime industries preferred
- Proven ability to source, interview, and close qualified candidates quickly for both technical and non-technical roles.
- Ability to work in fast paced startup environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and ability to attract top talent with minimal reliance on paid job postings.
- Experience partnering with hiring managers to align on talent needs and priorities.
- Proven ability to hire for both technical (Mechanical, Chemical Engineering) and G&A roles (Finance, IT, Business Development).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with UKG Ready/Pro Recruiting ATS system
- Familiarity with immigration processes (e.g., H-1B, TN, O-1, PERM).
- Proficiency in ATS platforms and other digital sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, etc.).
Summary
This is a W-2 contract position. The hourly range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. The final hourly rate will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills and expertise.
