The Facilities I&E Technician will be performing maintenance, repair and troubleshooting in Amogy’s Houston facility. This position will also be overseeing material logistics and inventory. Reporting to the Facilities Engineering Manager, this position plays a critical role in ensuring safe and reliable operation in the facility. The Facilities I&E Technician will be performing maintenance, repair and troubleshooting in Amogy’s Houston facility. This position will also be overseeing material logistics and inventory. Reporting to the Facilities Engineering Manager, this position plays a critical role in ensuring safe and reliable operation in the facility. What You’ll Be Doing
- Equipment inspection and maintenance
- Perform routine rounds of inspection
- Prepare and execute maintenance activities
- Performs/coordinate equipment and instrument troubleshooting and repairs
- Diagnoses and identify issues on instruments
- Conduct simple onsite repairs
- Support onsite activities such as valve turning, wire termination, etc.
- Contractor Management
- Coordinate 3rd party contractors onsite
- Ensure quality of the work performed by the contractors
- Manage material logistics and inventory
- Coordinate gas and chemical deliveries
- Receiving materials
- Manage spare parts and tools
- Manage other miscellaneous onsite supplies (consumables, office supplies, etc.)
The minimum requirements we seek:
- 7+ years of experience working as an I&E technician.
- Experience maintaining process equipment and instruments
- Experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning work; Megger test, calibration, continuity check, loop check, functionality check, etc.
- Knowledge of process equipment and systems to effectively communicate the needs of facility operations
- Knowledge in facility PLC control system and SIS systems is a plus
- Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights
- Must be able to kneel, bend, and squat
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to turn valves
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
