We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sr. Technical Sales Manager to join our team and lead the charge in driving business growth through technical sales leadership.
Position Overview:
As the Sr. Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy for our advanced battery solutions. This role combines deep technical and battery applications knowledge with strong sales acumen to help customers understand and adopt our products. You will work closely with the leadership teams including but not exclusive to engineering, manufacturing and product teams to identify customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and close strategic deals in the consumer electronics and/or automotive space. Your role is essential to expanding our market footprint and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Design and execute a comprehensive sales revenue strategy for our battery products in consumer electronics and/or automotive markets.
- Technical Applications: Leverage deep technical knowledge of battery technologies and applications.
- Business Developments: Ability to identify new accounts or strategic partnerships to expand product reach, solutions implementation and revenue growth.
- Solution Customization: Work closely with the engineering and product teams to develop battery solutions and perform bench mark application that align with voice of customer requirements, ensuring technical feasibility, scale-up and integration.
- Market Research: Stay ahead of industry trends, benchmarking products, and customer needs to inform strategies and product development roadmap.

- Capable of engaging on a peer-to-peer basis, with the highest levels of executives at target strategic and key accounts
- Have an enviable career track record that parallels that of key executives at target key accounts
- Demonstrated the ability to work at a start-up intensity with strong drive regarding all aspects of the business
- Extreme integrity and work ethic coupled with excellent communication and willingness to go the extra mile.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 7-10+ years in technical sales or business development within the energy, battery, or technology sectors, with a proven track record of customer applications or driving revenue growth.
- Strong Technical Background: Deep understanding of battery cell and pack product technologies in the consumer electronics, automotive, or energy storage solutions market.
- Sales Expertise: Demonstrated experience in selling complex technical products to technical teams and C-suite executives, with a focus on value-based solution-selling.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to be self-motivated but also lead and motivate teams to achieve targets, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong contract negotiation and closing skills.
- Education: A degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field (MBA is a plus).
- English Communication oral & written. Mandarin or Korean, a plus.
