Position Summary
We are seeking an exceptionally driven and passionate individual to support PV characterization efforts at Antora’s prototyping and R&D facility.
Roles & Responsibilities
- After training, independently perform materials and photovoltaic cell and module characterization, as well as reliability tests. (primary role)
- Assist with cell processing, data analysis, and hardware and/or software improvement. This is dependent on your interest and skills, and training will be provided. (secondary role)
- Develop a basic understanding of the physical principles behind characterization techniques to aid identification of problems.
- Identify and report any inconsistencies, oddities, or non-physical results.
- Work collaboratively and flexibly in a small team.
- Communicate technical and non-technical content clearly and effectively.
Key Qualifications
- Experience working in technical labs and/or production environments.
- Experience with the characterization of optoelectronic devices (2+ years).
- Experience handling scientific samples, great attention to detail.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Reliability, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn.
- Comfort engaging with problems you haven’t encountered before.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Empathy, sensitivity, and ability to effectively interact with a broad and diverse range of colleagues.
Additional Qualifications Desired
- Bachelors or equivalent in an engineering or technical field (e.g. electrical engineering, physics, etc).
- Experience with any of the following is a plus, but not required: ultraviolet/visible (UV/vis) spectroscopy, Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, external quantum efficiency (EQE), current voltage (IV) curves in light and/or dark, transmission line measurement (TLM) characterization, photoluminescence (PL) and/or electroluminescence (EL), any probe station experience, other optical or electrical testing experience, experience coding in Python, experience with the characterization of photovoltaic devices, experience running reliability and accelerated aging tests on optoelectronic devices.
Salary Range: $40.00 - $45.00 USD
Salary Basis: Hourly

The actual salary offered will be determined within the posted range based on a candidate's experience, credentials, and expertise as they pertain to the requirements of the position.
