WHO YOU ARE:

Astro Mechanica is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our growing team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has the versatility to support a wide range of design needs across our organization.

In this role, you will collaborate across teams to create high-impact, visually compelling assets for internal and external audiences, ensuring our brand is cohesive, compelling, and consistently impactful.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Bring ideas to life across a wide range of design projects for print and digital applications, including:

  • Presentations and pitch materials to support business development, research & development, and other company priorities

  • Marketing and promotional collateral, including branded merchandise, brochures, flyers, and campaign or event graphics

  • Brand and digital assets, such as imagery, icons, and other visual elements that elevate our brand identity

  • Website and social media content to drive engagement and strengthen our digital presence

• Incorporate feedback thoughtfully, refining designs to meet stakeholder needs while enhancing the creative vision

• Ensure visual consistency across all materials, maintaining the integrity of the Astro Mechanica brand

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• 3-5+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative vision and design excellence

• Proficiency in design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma) and presentation tools (PowerPoint, Google Slides)

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality output

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive, team-oriented mindset

• Availability to commit up to 20-25 hours per week, depending on project needs

• Aerospace or startup experience is a plus
