About the role
The IT System Administrator will work with Climate Policy Initiative’s Senior IT associate, outsourced IT Providers, and Office Operations associates to ensure CPI’s has a team confident in using appropriate and connected secure IT systems with appropriate documentation, and policies.
User training and guidance (20%)
- Provide advice and support to staff on CPI’s IT systems; particularly Oracle Project Pro (formally Netsuite) and MS 365 including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Office apps, and others as they arise.
- Working with Office Operations Associates, assist with the quality of the joiner IT introduction/training.
- Support staff in navigating IT support.
- Work collaboratively with IT System owners to create and maintain technical documentation and standard operation procedures for IT systems at CPI.
Security (20%)
- Monitor information security and endpoint security, including personal devices.
- Contribute to the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of networking security measures.
- Work with our office providers and local IT support to ensure networks are secure and reliable.
Hardware (10%)
- Working with Office Operations Associates, maintain a global IT Hardware Asset register, and monitor replacements and upgrades on aged devices
- Support Office Operations associates in liaising with IT Providers to troubleshoot or repair IT equipment when necessary.
Experience, Skills, and Personal Attributes
The successful applicant will have experience managing IT systems,
- Overall 6 years and above supporting IT systems
- Experience with system administration on SaaS platforms in, knowledge of MS 365 or NetSuite OpenAir is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/IT systems Management and/or relevant certifications or professional experience.
- Experience creating documentation and training users in IT Systems and processes
- Confidence to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, organized, and innovative approach to problem solving.
Position Details
CPI is recruiting for one full-time position to be based in our New Delhi office.
CPI has adopted a hybrid working whereby staff work with flexible days/hours on site.
