The Facilities Electrician Lead plays a critical role in maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable electrical systems across our offices, manufacturing facilities, and laboratories. The Lead will work directly with Facilities team leadership to plan and execute new installations, upgrades, and maintenance of electrical systems and data networks. This leadership position also requires a certain amount of hands-on work.

How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:

  • Lead and mentor a facilities electrical team to maintain and upgrade building systems that support our operations
  • Perform hands-on tasks and duties related to the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the electrical systems, data networks, fire alarms, and equipment
  • Ensure all electrical infrastructure meets safety standards
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate facilities electricians on technical skills, safety protocols, and company procedures
  • Perform work on ANSI-defined medium and low voltage electrical systems and equipment that generally operate in a voltage range from 12,470 VAC to 120 VAC
  • Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and maintain OSHA compliance
  • Respond to and troubleshoot electrical emergencies and outages
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and facility management on electrical projects
  • Manage preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems, panels, and equipment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Master Electrician license with 10+ years of hands-on commercial or industrial electrical experience
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards
  • Familiarity of state and municipal permitting process
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
  • Ability to perform electrical requirements in dangerous, busy, or loud environments
  • Must be able to work in fast-paced team structured environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate within the organization's software and email program
  • High energy, self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Must have a valid driving license

Above and Beyond Qualifications:

  • Foreman or supervisor experience
  • Experience with Building Automation Systems
  • Experience with commercial/industrial facilities management
