Job Description

The Analytics and Insights Group (AIG) is the group within Bidgely that looks into all analytical needs of the company across the board - Sales, Delivery, Product management, Engineering and Infra and Data Science. The core of Bidgely’s products are Energy Disaggregation/Itemization, which is derived from Algorithms & Machine Learning models built by the Data Scientists. AIG focuses on the practical application of Data Science for energy disaggregation in the millions of homes across the globe served by Bidgely through its utility clients.

We are looking for an extraordinary and dynamic Data Analyst/ Senior Data Analyst to be part of its Energy Efficiency team in Bangalore. This team supports program designs, savings tracking and evaluations to win Energy Efficiency contracts, and launch them successfully post winning an RFP to track their success year on year post their lifetime by various analytics. You must be a data-oriented individual who enjoys working with numbers, statistics, understands basics of data science and can derive meaningful insights. Be part of a highly energetic and innovative team that leverages data to drive quality across the organization.

Responsibilities

● Own various analytical tasks ranging from sanity, data cleaning, analysis, program designs and data based conclusion for various analytics deliverables.

● Understanding Bidgely’s products and AI algos to help in better outcomes when working on data extraction, analysing AI algos results, other pipeline data analysis, and presentation.

● Analyze data from a customer use case perspective and map it back to the Bidgely Data platform framework.

● Strive for excellence in data analytics by looking beyond obvious scenarios and stated requirements.

● Deliver data backed analysis and statistically proven solutions

● Own creating presentations and visualizations where needed

Requirements

● Engineering Graduate with over 2 years of experience in data analytics involving large data sets and statistical analysis / data modelling/ AB testing.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with exposure to statistical tools and techniques is a must have.

● Deep knowledge of SQL and python and working experience involving complex queries and scripts.

● Ability to map processes and business logics

● Should have the ability to sift through large data, identify patterns and find issues

● Track record of developing analytics, processes and reports on complex, cross-functional projects with large enterprise customers

● Able to communicate succinctly and effectively and has strong communication as well as collaboration skills

● Experience with tools such as Looker, Microsoft Excel, R, Google Smartsheets, Tableau, etc would be good to have.
