  • Develop and implement financial strategies and policies that foster strategic partnerships, commercial agreements, and licensing deals to drive business growth.
  • Drive fundraising efforts, including securing investments, venture capital, and debt financing, to support strategic initiatives and expansion plans.
  • Identify and negotiate strategic deals as a supplier, ensuring favorable terms and mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess potential acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances that align with the company's objectives.
  • Optimize the business model to run asset light, leveraging outsourcing, technology, and efficient resource allocation.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities to provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership.
  • Conduct financial analysis, including investment evaluations, cost analysis, and revenue projections, to support decision-making and drive profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting requirements, and tax obligations in all strategic initiatives and partnerships.
  • Foster strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and key stakeholders to support fundraising and partnership opportunities.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship and guidance, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or in a similar financial leadership role, with a strong emphasis on developing strategic partnerships and commercial agreements.
  • Extensive experience in fundraising, including securing investments, venture capital, and debt financing.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating licensing deals, strategic supplier agreements, and other strategic partnerships.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate investment opportunities and assess financial feasibility.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business growth and profitability.
  • Experience in setting up asset light business models and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Proficiency in financial software systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
