Qualifications

• Able to work in a full time capacity for a minimum of 6 or more months
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Positive, can-do attitude and experience working with team members to overcome technical challenges
• Creative thinker with attention to detail
• Appreciation for and adherence to lab and work safety policies
• Ability to work in a dry room and a glove box for extended periods of time
  
  

Responsibilities

• Assist the R&D team with electrolyte material development, battery electrode and separator material processing, solid state cell assembly, and data analysis
• Learn to characterize electrolyte and cell materials using various analytical techniques
• Assemble and test solid state battery cells to evaluate the impact of materials on cell cycle life, resistance, rate capability, and other parameters
• Work with team members to discuss material characterization and cell performance results
• Document, present, and share results with team members
