Blue Current develops solid-state battery technology based on a silicon-first, fully dry “silicon elastic composite” chemistry. The company designs and manufactures battery cells that aim to be thinner, lighter, safe by default, and capable of high energy density and long cycle life. Blue Current sources active materials from leading providers, then builds its own electrolyte, separator, and cell components. It works with battery and automotive manufacturers to license its technology and provide sample cells for testing. Blue Current operates a facility for research, pilot manufacturing, battery testing, and scaling toward commercial production.
