Role synopsis:
The Knowledge Management Lead is responsible for driving the execution of the knowledge management strategy, focusing on the delivery of high-quality knowledge services, effective content management, and efficient use of knowledge solutions. Working closely with the Knowledge Manager and key stakeholders across bp, the Lead ensures consistent implementation of content standards and supports the alignment of local delivery with global KM objectives.
Role accountabilities:
Lead the routine execution of the KM Operation by developing a team of knowledge advisors. Ensure team meeting operation KPI.
Work closely with content contributors across PC&C towers and functions to ensure content are up-to-date.
Ensure compliance with the governance standards, frameworks, and publication policies defined by guidelines, maintaining consistency across the knowledge estate.
Support implementation strategies, frameworks, and tools.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives informed by analytics and user feedback, finding opportunities to enhance content effectiveness and platform usage. This includes constant drive to improve Tier 0 to Tier 1 resolutions with knowledge content.
Oversee quality assurance reviews, knowledge lifecycle maintenance, and operational issue resolution in collaboration with product and platform teams.
Coordinate and deliver global KM projects and content deployment activities, ensuring readiness, execution, and post-cutover support.
Engage partners and business representatives to ensure knowledge aligns with changing business needs and supports real-time resolution.
Act as a point of escalation for KM-related issues, ensuring root cause analysis and remediation are implemented optimally.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, information technology, communications), or knowledge management qualification from a recognized institution experience required.
Min. 5 years and above of working experience knowledge management in a global shared services environment, minimum 3 years of Leadership experience
Solid skills and expertise of business processes, and IT systems related to HR system
Experience in continuous improvement/Lean six sigma/ relevant methodology

Technical:
Experience of project management in both agile and waterfall
Experience in leading content and information architecture strategy across an organization
Proficient knowledge of knowledge management tools, platforms and best practices
Experience of contribution to great employee / user experiences – leveraging design thinking and service-centric design methodologies
