This role is for Egyptian nationalities only; however, we would like to encourage candidates of all genders to apply.

Purpose of role:

The primary purpose of the role is to support the SFA in delivery a robust control environment, support the month end close process.
Support the proper, accurate and timely submission of tax returns and supporting compliance in area of tax, duties, and other regulatory requirements. Supporting the SFA on managing the treasury processes and policy in the country.
Participate & contribute to business process improvement and simplification initiative.

In this role You will:

  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal controls, the Group Reporting Manual, and local regulations
  • Support timely and correct tax filing (e.g., VAT, withholding, annual and quarterly returns) and respond to tax queries
  • Contribute to business planning and cost forecasting, working closely with internal stakeholders
  • Assist with statutory audits, balance sheet assurance, and due diligence processes
  • Oversee treasury processes including reconciliation of bank accounts and cash management in line with central bank requirements
  • Ensure timely processing of accounts payable and intercompany transactions
  • Monitor debtor balances and ensure credit compliance and recovery procedures
  • Participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives and contribute to operational simplification

What You will need to be successful:

  • A recognized national or international finance/accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CMA)
  • 6–8 years of relevant post-qualification experience or significant equivalent business experience
  • Strong knowledge of local tax laws and financial compliance practices
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, and good analytical skills using tools like Power BI
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to engage cross-functional teams across regions
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage shifting priorities, diverse teams, and fast-paced changes across time zones

It would be beneficial to also have:

  • Experience working in multinational or regional environments with varied regulatory frameworks
  • Familiarity with performance management, statutory audits, and treasury operations
  • A proactive mindset for identifying process improvements
  • Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills, with confidence in influencing others
