Job Description:
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of the software infrastructure that powers our technology platforms. Managing a collaborative team of engineers, you’ll ensure our platforms remain highly available, scalable, and secure. Your role will also involve building new features, optimizing performance, and providing expert technical support to cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Deliver
- Maintain and enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of large-scale, cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
- Develop automation tools to streamline and improve operational processes.
- Ensure seamless, efficient operation of applications and services.
- Detect and resolve issues proactively, implementing automated failure management to keep systems resilient.
- Collaborate with software developers, engineers, and operations teams to continually improve system health and performance.
- Conduct incident analysis to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in TypeScript, C#, and Python, with the ability to work confidently across multiple platforms.
- Strong experience writing secure, stable, maintainable, and testable code.
- Solid systems design capabilities.
- 4+ years of software development experience focused on platform or service engineering.
- Deep understanding of software engineering best practices throughout the SDLC, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and operations.
- Proven track record of building and operating complex, production-grade systems, with a strong emphasis on security, privacy, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
Software Skills:
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Ruby; scripting skills in Bash or PowerShell.
- Expertise in continuous integration/deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Skilled at delivering end-to-end software systems optimized for production environments.
Infrastructure Skills:
- Proficient in Linux/Unix systems administration, including configuration, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in building and scaling cloud infrastructure services on AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Solid knowledge of cloud services including identity management, networking, storage, databases, containers, and serverless architectures.
- Strong understanding of various database types (relational, graph, document, key-value) including performance tuning.
