Role Synopsis
Responsible for centrally leading key business integrations. This role is intended review business processes and workflows across the business to drive standardization to deliver efficiency improvement and waste elimination. This role is accountable for identifying and delivering efficiency improvements at scale by offshoring tasks, workflows, and strategies while ensuring quality, performance, and standards are maintained. This role will manage any larger scale asset integration resulting from merger and acquisition activities from a production and operations management perspective. This will include transition of personnel, facility design reviews, revalidation of HAZOP’s, facility consequence categorization, measurement and allocations, integrity management reviews, among other transitional activities.
Key Accountabilities
Business Process Improvement
- Identify key business processes that should be streamlined and standardized to improve efficiencies.
- Integrate with business unit operations teams to understand which workflows are inconsistent, inefficient or lack standardization
- Analyze economic impact of operating function workflows and demonstrate improvement through optimization or offshoring
- Use data analytics and KPIs to measure the impact of improvement initiatives
Business Integration
- Oversee the integration of new business units, systems, or processes following mergers, acquisitions, or internal restructuring.
- Lead resourcing transitions to optimize offshore staffing support
- Develop integration roadmaps, timelines, and communication plans / protocols
Project Support
- Support larger scale engineering projects by coordinating central engineering support
- Manage cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget
- Coordinate, scope and plan for technical resources from BP Engineering Services, TSI and LTI
Essential Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in operations, engineering, or business transformation roles within the energy, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional integration projects, especially post-M&A.
- Strong background in Lean Six Sigma, process mapping, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with offshoring strategies and managing global or remote teams.
- Familiarity with change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL) to evaluate process performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Understanding of production operations, facility design, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HAZOP, integrity management).
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and workflow automation tools.
How much do we pay (Base) $158,000-$195,000. Note that the pay range listed for this position is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.
