Let me tell you about the role
As a Senior Enterprise Technology Engineer, you will play a strategic role in shaping and securing enterprise-wide technology landscapes, ensuring their resilience, performance, and compliance. You will provide deep expertise in security, infrastructure, and operational excellence, driving large-scale transformation and automation initiatives. Your role will encompass platform architecture, system integration, cybersecurity, and operational continuity. You will be collaborating with senior IT leadership, architects, and business partners, working to establish robust governance models, technology roadmaps, and innovative security frameworks to safeguard critical enterprise applications.
What you will deliver
Deliver scalable, testable, and reliable solution components aligned with platform and development standards.
Build reusable infrastructure code and services using AWS-native tools and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
Support staff engineers and architects in translating technical platform designs into well-scoped, actionable user stories.
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation using Git-based workflows and AWS DevOps services.
Implement security, monitoring, and compliance configurations within AWS environments to support operational readiness.
Optimize AWS service usage for performance, availability, and cost efficiency across multiple environments.
Test solutions in pre-production environments and ensure high-quality delivery prior to customer release.
Seek to broaden subject matter expertise across AWS products and chip in to team knowledge-sharing and documentation.
What you will need to be successful (experience and qualifications)
Technical skills we need from you
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent experience.
5+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating AWS-based solutions.
Proficient in AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, Landing Zone, and CodePipeline.
Strong in scripting (Python) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like CloudFormation or CDK.
Experienced with CI/CD pipelines (Git/GitLab), AWS networking (Direct Connect, Transit Gateway), and IAM security standard processes.
Skilled in Agile, DevOps, and test-driven development practices!
Strong troubleshooting ability with a focus on optimizing cloud performance, availability, and reliability.
Driven to stay ahead of AWS innovations and apply modern architecture patterns.
Essential skills
Ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions using core AWS services.
Skilled in Infrastructure-as-Code, with experience automating deployments using CloudFormation or CDK.
Proficient in scripting with Python to support automation, monitoring, and platform tooling.
Experience integrating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient, testable, and repeatable deployments.
Deep understanding of AWS networking, identity, and access management for multi-account environments.
Strong grasp of DevOps principles, observability, and operational excellence in production systems.
Ability to break down platform designs into actionable stories and deliver through Agile workflows.
Clear communicator who can collaborate across engineering teams and chip in to design discussions.
Skills that set you apart
AWS DevOps Engineer Professional or Solutions Architect Professional certification.
Experience optimizing large-scale AWS environments for performance, cost, and compliance.
Ability to mentor peers and raise technical standards across the team.
Track record of identifying architectural gaps and delivering impactful improvements.
