What we're looking for
As a founding backend engineer at Blumen, you would play a critical role in designing, building, and iterating on our core platform. Our product is very backend heavy and consists of two primary systems - a geospatial data pipeline and API and an LLM-based retrieval feature. Your primary responsibility would be engineering the interface between these two systems.
Responsibilities
Work closely with customers and dive deep on their projects
Play a critical role in developing the backend platform
Implement architecture designs on top of the core Blumen system
Anything else that you might want to get involved in across the stack
Qualifications
Demonstrated excellence building complex backend applications with particular focus on LLM orchestration (LangChain + a model), search, vector databases, and SQL tools
Deep CI/CD, git, and cloud architecture knowledge and capability
Willingness to dive deep on the problem we’re solving and learn new frameworks and libraries
Stack: GCP, Flask, Prisma, LangChain, Pinecone, Postgres/PostGIS
