Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient Sourcing & Supply Chain Specialist with 3–6 years of experience in electronics and electrical sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in managing PCBA and wiring harness components, working closely with EMS vendors, and supporting both prototype and production phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison with suppliers for all RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs; collaborate with internal stakeholders to support cost-effective sourcing solutions.
• Lead new product introductions (NPI) and ensure strict adherence to program timelines.
• Drive the quick development of prototypes for engineering validation and testing.
• Source components per BOM specifications and accommodate design changes provided by the product engineering team.
• Manage and develop a reliable domestic and international supplier base for PCBA and harness assemblies across NPD and production stages.
• Review and interpret technical documents including BOMs, technical drawings, data sheets, Gerber files, and fabrication layouts.
• Coordinate the organization of component samples and oversee their testing.
• Oversee packaging manufacturing and PCB layout processes to ensure timely vendor release.
• Maintain knowledge of active/passive electronic components and semiconductors.
• Ensure vendor compliance through management of legal documentation such as SOWs, NDAs, and supplier contracts.
• Leverage knowledge of international and local component vendors to optimize procurement efficiency and cost.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in sourcing and supply chain management, specifically in electronics and electrical components.
• Strong understanding of PCBA, wiring harness, and electronic component manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents including drawings, BOMs, Gerber files, and datasheets.
• Familiarity with EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) operations and vendor management.
• Experience with legal and procurement documentation such as SOWs and NDAs.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
