Position Overview:
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial Product Manager to build a world-class consumer product experience for our clients. You’ll immerse yourself in their needs and experiences by engaging directly with them, being on the ground, and studying the entire recovery lifecycle. Using these insights, you’ll collaborate with our engineering, design, and operations teams to ensure that our products address real pain points and deliver exceptional value.
The ideal candidate has experience as an early product hire at a successful consumer-focused startup and understands what it takes to build a high-quality product from the ground up. This role is based in our Austin, TX, office, with an expectation of being in the office most of the time. Some occasional remote work is flexible.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Research: Engage with clients to deeply understand their needs and recovery experience.
Product Strategy: Prioritize a product roadmap that translates insights into the ability to serve our market and accelerate our offering.
Cross-functional development: Coordinate between engineering, design, and operations to define and deliver impactful products.
Lifecycle Optimization: Continuously refine the client journey to enhance satisfaction and outcomes.
Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs and use data to improve product strategy and execution.
Client Advocacy: Champion client needs and ensure they drive decision-making across teams.
Qualifications:
Product Experience at a Startup: 8+ years in product management for digital products, with experience at a successful consumer-focused startup wearing multiple hats.
First Principles and Client-centric Mindset: Proven understanding and advocating for root user needs through direct engagement.
Clever and Creative: Ability to imagine and deliver a delightful multimodal customer experience across web, mobile, sms, and social.
Cross-functional leadership: Skilled at aligning many stakeholders and driving high-quality products.
Data-driven: Strong analytical skills to define and track KPIs, evaluate success, and iterate effectively.
Execution Focus: Ability to translate big-picture strategy into actionable plans and deliver results.
Strong Communicator: Clear, concise, and effective verbal and written communication.
Adaptable and Resilient: Comfortable learning on the job and staying nimble in a high-growth environment.
Comfort with travel: May require frequent travel, including unpredictable deployments to disasters.
