As lead Systems engineer at Cache, you will get to lead the scaling and deployment of an unprecedented energy storage technology to market. You will be improving the performance of the existing energy storage unit and helping to scale and assemble a 10 MW fully automated energy storage system. Outcomes

● Lead design of large scale thermo-chemical energy storage system

● Leverage learnings from existing unit to help assemble the larger unit

● Test and qualify the large scale unit for commercial deployment

Responsibilities

● Lead testing, scaling and efficiency improvement of energy storage units

● Lead planning for manufacturing multiple commercial units

● Manage various contractors and vendors during assembly and testing

● Work in a small, driven, collaborative team with a large amount of autonomy and ownership.

Qualifications

The ability to move fast and the knack for getting things done is absolutely necessary. An innovative mindset with prior experience in design, assembly and running pilot or commercial 1- 10MW thermal, chemical or related processes is preferred. Machining, welding, electrical experience is preferred but not necessary. 5+ experience in the Chemical or Manufacturing industry is preferred.
