You will develop and own our internal and external budgets and financial models in pursuit of our global deployment strategy. You will also be a core team member for our capital raising efforts across our corporate and project-level fundraising activities. About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience to joint our dynamic commercial team. This role is critical to supporting our corporate finance, project finance, and budgeting/reporting efforts as we grow and expand our operations. The Finance Manager will play a key role in driving financial strategies, managing project financing, and ensuring effective budget control and reporting processes.
What You Will Do
Corporate Finance:
- Support capital raising activities at Capture6, including equity, debt, and other financial instruments.
- Assist with financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting to guide strategic decisions.
Budgeting and Reporting
- Develop tools for and support company and project-level budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Monitor actual financial performance against the budget, identifying variances and providing insights.
- Support the preparation of board reports and other management presentations.
Project Finance
- Convert project-level budgets to project finance models and scenarios to evaluate risks, returns, and feasibility for US-based and international project opportunities.
- Collaborate and support cross-functional teams to structure, negotiate, and close project-level capital raising (equity, debt, concessionary capital, etc.).
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including lenders, investors, and advisors.
What You Will Bring
- 3+ years of experience in corporate or project finance, ideally in investment banking, infrastructure, or consulting.
- Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and accounting skills, especially for early-stage infrastructure projects across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proficient in project finance structures, including risk analysis and scenario planning.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detai1l and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of managing shifting priorities.
- Collaborative team player.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for addressing climate change.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Exceptional Candidates Will Bring
- Knowledge of climate policy, carbon removal, and carbon markets
- Experience and understanding of chemical production and water processing industries.
- Prior experience working in a start-up environment.
- Transaction structuring experience involving multiple external stakeholders.
