We’re lean, scrappy and determined to make a massive impact by helping the world’s biggest emitters measure their full emissions and enact plans to reduce them. At CarbonChain we see the climate challenge as a transformative opportunity for the global economy, and a rewarding career opportunity for those willing to take on the challenge in a rapidly growing market.

We live and breathe our values every day, and pride ourselves on creating a positive, inclusive and world-class environment for our talent to develop. We’ve got MBAs and PhDs, and experience leading huge initiatives and teams at some of the world’s best companies and scale-ups, but we know that there’s a lot we don’t know, and we’re hoping you can help fill that gap.

Key Responsibilities

As the first Revenue Operations Manager at CarbonChain, you will play a pivotal role in designing and scaling our revenue operations function. This is an exciting opportunity to build processes and frameworks from the ground up, enabling the Go-to-Market (GTM) team to operate efficiently and drive predictable, scalable growth. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be a strategic partner across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, ensuring alignment, data-driven insights, and operational excellence across the customer lifecycle.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Operational Foundations: Establish a best-in-class RevOps function, creating scalable processes for lead management, pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into GTM performance metrics, enabling leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Tech Stack Enablement: Audit, optimize, and manage our GTM tech stack (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, customer success tools) to support the needs of the business.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to streamline handoffs, reduce friction, and align teams around shared goals.
  • Territory & Quota Planning: Support territory design, capacity planning, and quota setting to ensure fair distribution of opportunities and optimal resource allocation.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in GTM workflows and implement solutions that improve productivity and effectiveness across the organization.

What we can offer to you

  • Best-in-class benefits and salary package (as detailed below)
  • Huge investment into your personal development - combining internal and external resources to help you develop in your career.
  • Join at a critical stage of our journey and have the opportunity to shape CarbonChain’s RevOps function from the ground up.
  • Collaborate with a team of passionate individuals at a mission-driven company committed to making a difference, and grow your career as we scale

Desired Background & Experience

  • Experience: 2-4 years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a similar role in a B2B SaaS or technology company, ideally with experience supporting early-stage or scaling organizations.
  • Data Mastery: Strong analytical skills with expertise in CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or BI platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
  • Systems Savvy: Hands-on experience managing GTM tech stacks, including integrations, workflows, and user adoption.
  • Process-Driven Mindset: Proven ability to design and optimize workflows, with a keen eye for process improvement and attention to detail.
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of working effectively across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think both strategically and tactically, with a focus on delivering long-term, scalable solutions.
  • Growth Mindset: Eagerness to take ownership, experiment, and learn in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Preferred, but not essential:

  • Experience working in a climate tech or sustainability-focused organization.
  • Knowledge of SQL or experience working with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling, quota planning, or headcount planning.
