Purpose Driven Position
Reporting to the Director of Technical Services, the Technical Services Domestic Manager is responsible for quarterbacking a team of Technical Service Specialists (TSS) to drive customer success through implementation with continued technical support throughout the customer journey. Maintaining a quality customer first approach while maintaining costs and maintaining a strong domestic pod with Technical Services, Technical Program Managers, Account Managers and the Hardware Team.

What you'll need to succeed
- 5-7 years’ experience of working in quality control or a similar role
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to professionally understand, develop and present technical solutions to technical end users
- 2+ years Experience managing and/or leading a team
- Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Data analysis skills
- Experience with various software; including zoom, slack, g suite, confluence, project management platforms
- Experience using a customer relationship management tool (ex: Salesforce) would be considered a strong asset
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to facilitate teamwork with individuals across internal departments and external partners
- Ability to work autonomously with a geographically dispersed team
- Legal ability to travel within Canada and the United States
What you'll be doing
- Provide guidance for TSS when making recommendations for mix design adjustments to our customers
- Lead team meetings to ensure team is meeting quarterly objectives
- Deliver on company KPI’s set by the Leadership Team
- Manage team expenses
- Build strong relationships with key customer quality control and tech services teams to gain confidence in the technology and build trust with their teams
- Read and approve technical reports and mix adjustment recommendations from TSSs
- Bring challenges/process improvement needs to the Director and works to resolve
- Track metrics for success using SFDC, Quicksight
- Oversee day to day scheduling requirements for TSS
- Interview, train and onboard new team members
- Lead cross functional projects, participating in interdepartmental initiatives and engage in professional communities
- Travel Requirements of 25-50% estimated annually
