• Build and maintain a robust network of suppliers, manufacturers, and recyclers to ensure a steady supply of high-quality recycled plastics.

• Identify and secure new purchasing and trading opportunities in line with market demand and company goals.

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with suppliers and customers to optimize costs and maximize profitability.

• Analyze market trends, pricing structures, and demand patterns to inform strategic purchasing and trading decisions.

• Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure availability while minimizing excess stock.

• Work closely with the product and operations teams to align procurement with customer needs and delivery schedules.

• Ensure compliance with sustainability standards, certifications, and regulations in the procurement and trading of recycled plastics.

• Provide regular reports and insights on market developments, supplier performance, and trading results to improve our tech-enabled procurement engine.

• Proven experience in trading, procurement, or purchasing, ideally in the plastics or recycling industry.

• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a history of successful supplier and customer partnerships.

• Solid understanding of the recycled plastics market, including market dynamics, quality standards, and sustainability practices.

• Excellent analytical skills with a strategic mindset and the ability to adapt to fast-changing market conditions.

• A proactive, results-driven attitude with a passion for sustainability and innovation.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.

• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German or other languages is an advantage.
