Climate Farmers is a growing organisation that’s building the infrastructure for scaling regenerative agriculture in Europe. We achieve this through the development of transition finance instruments, a thriving farmer-led community, and supply-chain transition support.

For our tech team we are looking for immediate support in their mission to develop and enhance a robust tech platform, serving as the backbone for efficiently managing and issuing Carbon+ credits to a large community of farmers. Our product is early stage, complex and only starting to build out its potential. Therefore we are looking for someone that enjoys getting their hands dirty in a hands-on fullstack environment.

In short, this is what you will be working on:

• Full stack application development in JavaScript

• AWS Server management and release

• Application maintenance and enhancements

We believe, this project is for you if you

• have around 3 years of hands-on experience in Node JS and React

• spent most of your time in startups and loved the early product launch stage, working through the full stack

or

• maybe started out your professional journey somewhere completely different. Eventually even closer to our soil? And now you have found your way to coding our future for at least the past year

additionally we welcome

• in-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• fluency in English, with an additional advantage if you speak Spanish and/or Portuguese, as our platform serves farmers in the Iberian Peninsula. German, Italian or French could also be a great addition

• you are located within the EU, preferably Spain, Portugal or Germany
