Your mission
Climate Farmers is a growing organisation that’s building the infrastructure for scaling regenerative agriculture in Europe. We achieve this through the development of transition finance instruments, a thriving farmer-led community, and supply-chain transition support.
Your mission will be to help Climate Farmers implement its framework for measuring the agroecological impact of its regenerative agriculture projects in France.
We are seeking a freelance Agronomist based in France to support a key client project. The role will involve approximately 12-15 days of work in autumn (October) and 20 days in spring 2025.
In this collaboration you will play a crucial role in assessing and monitoring the health of farms across France. Your responsibilities will include collecting soil, leaf, and water samples and conducting visual assessments to evaluate soil health, biodiversity, and water cycles. After your field visits, you'll input your findings into our platform, helping us track and report on the progress of the farms we support.
In addition to your technical duties, you'll be the first point of contact for farmers, explaining the importance of monitoring their farm's progress and guiding them on how to conduct these assessments independently in the future. You'll work closely with a project manager and other agronomists, contributing to our mission of scaling regenerative agriculture across Europe.
