About the Role

As a leading force in the carbon removal industry, CO280 is seeking a visionary Head of Product
Marketing to spearhead our mission to combat climate change. This is your opportunity to make a
lasting impact on the planet while working at the forefront of climate technology and large-scale
carbon removal (CDR) projects. As a key member of CO280’s Commercial team and Head of
Product Marketing, you’ll do whatever it takes to successfully position CO280 and our CDR as the
leader in the carbon market, creating marketing strategies to drive lead generation and revenue
growth. You’ll also create and implement strategies to position us within the pulp and paper
industry as the carbon removal project partner of choice. You’ll shape CO280’s product marketing
and communications strategy into our two key markets (carbon and pulp and paper), building our
public profile and brand.

About the Company

CO280 is a leading developer of large-scale carbon removal projects that will remove more than 10
megatons of carbon per year from the atmosphere. We are achieving this by partnering with pulp
and paper companies to capture biogenic CO2 from pulp mills and store it permanently in geologic
formations. Our projects deliver a new standard of permanent, large-scale carbon dioxide removal
at the highest quality and lowest cost compared to other permanent CDR.

While we are a small team, we punch above our weight. We have executed some of the largest CDR
offtake transactions ever completed (not yet publicly announced), as well as a 224,500-tonne
offtake with Frontier, their largest ever by volume. On the supply side, we have partnered with the
largest pulp and paper companies in North America with exclusive agreements to co-develop,
finance, own, and operate large-scale carbon capture and removal projects. From both the supply
and demand side of the market, we are addressing a critical supply gap in the CDR market, with the
most affordable permanent CDR credits available.

To support project execution and scale-up, we have created a powerful and growing network of
partners including Frontier, JP Morgan, Microsoft, SLB Capturi, and others. We have assembled an
extraordinary team, and we’re backed by some of the leading equity funds in energy transition. We
are well-capitalized and are scaling up our team to achieve the next stage of growth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the commercial team to create go-to-market strategies and materials for CDR sales.

This could include blog posts, case studies, collaborations with scientists, newsletters, videos, or other creative media. You will be responsible for identifying and managing any external consultants needed to enable our content output.
