Position Summary
Reporting to the Vice President, FinOps, the Business Intelligence & Operations Analyst supports the design, coordination, and ongoing optimization of CGC’s data warehouse and dashboarding environment while also providing day-to-day analytical, operational, and execution support across the FinOps function. While not solely responsible for data warehouse and dashboard development, this role maintains a primary focus on supporting these data platform activities and coordinating as needed across FinOps teams. The Analyst combines hands-on business intelligence and dashboarding skills—particularly in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI—with strong organizational and communication capabilities, helping translate cross-functional inputs into clear insights, tools, and materials that support planning, tracking, and decision-making across the organization.

Essential Duties
- Data Warehouse Coordination & Data Flow Management – Support the ongoing operation, monitoring, and enhancement of CGC’s data warehouse, including overseeing data pipelines and data quality. Serve as a central coordinator across FinOps departments and external support vendors for dashboard maintenance and reporting purposes.
- Dashboard Development & Maintenance – Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards (ideally leveraging Microsoft Fabric) to support organizational reporting needs, ensuring accuracy, usability, and timely updates.
- Operational & Management Support – Provide day-to-day support to the Vice President, FinOps in coordinating across the FinOps team, including scheduling, preparation of presentations and briefing materials, tracking action items, and supporting internal planning, coordination, and execution of team priorities.
- Meeting Support & Documentation – Support internal and cross-functional meetings through agenda development, note-taking, synthesis of decisions and action items, and follow-up coordination. Lead one-on-one meetings or working sessions as needed to gather status updates and evolving requirements and translate those inputs into clear documentation or decision-support materials.
- Vendor & Cross-Functional Collaboration – Help manage the working relationship with CGC’s data warehouse support vendor, including coordinating requests, tracking deliverables, and escalating issues as needed, while collaborating closely with the VP of IT and senior operational leaders.
Required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated experience supporting data systems, reporting workflows, or analytics functions
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate across teams, and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment
- High attention to detail, strong follow-through, and comfort working across both technical and operational domains
- Willingness to learn new systems, tools, data platforms, and evolving reporting or compliance requirements
- Experience with data warehousing concepts, data flows, and system integrations
- Familiarity with business intelligence and dashboarding tools, particularly Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
- Ability to document processes, synthesize complex information, and present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI in a production environment
- Experience working with or coordinating external technology vendors
- Familiarity with financial operations, investment operations, or compliance reporting environments
- Familiarity with Salesforce and NetSuite or similar financial management or operational data systems
- Interest in or passion for climate finance, sustainability, or public-private investment initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or other equivalent experience. An advanced degree is a plus, although not required.
- 3+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
- The salary range for the Analyst position is between $96,687 – $110,082 annually.
- Analyst will be eligible for an annual bonus based on job and organizational performance.
