Join the power movement as a Senior Operations Planner
You will manage an end-to-end supply plan to ensure demand and supply for critical system builds are cohesive with the goals of the company and production plan. You will be the planning subject matter expert within a collaborative culture and exhibit transparent communication and innovative solutions for mitigating schedule risk. You will work hand in hand with our production directors to ensure material is available and production is running smoothly.

What you'll do:

  • Interface between Suppliers, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing to align schedules and resources for critical path items
  • Monitor and report supply risk mitigation strategies to internal customers on a continuous basis
  • Identify and clearly communicate schedule blockers and their impacts
  • Manage full product lifecycle demand and supply planning signals
  • Negotiate internally & externally to ensure resources are appropriately allocated
  • Be the link between Inventory and Finance to monitor and prevent overages or underages in excess of the plan of record
  • Translate Engineering bills of materials into actionable planning signals for the Supply Chain and Production teams
  • Train and mentor teammates and counterparts
  • Create tools and innovate planning processes to help production lines operate more efficiently
  • Manage MRP and product/project schedule alignment
  • Work with data systems teams on continuous MRP optimization

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or Finance
  • Master’s Degree (MBA, etc.) is a plus
  • 5+ Yrs in Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain, Consulting, Strategy, or Operations
  • Experience driving results in crossfunctional environments
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong relationship building skills, and the ability to interact and work effectively with many levels of personnel and suppliers
  • Strong computer skills with MS office and G-Suite applications
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically to get things done
  • Understanding of ERP and MRP systems
  • SQL Experience preferred

  • Start-up or high growth environment
  • Experience with resource allocation
  • Experience managing and meeting project timelines
  • Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)
  • Experience working with technical teams

Must-have requirements:

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Work in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics
  • Perform activities such as typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time
  • Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally
