We're looking for a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join our team as an In-House Customer Care Agent and Steak Sommelier!
This unique role combines exceptional customer service skills with a love of all things steak. You'll be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience while also providing expert advice on selecting the perfect products for their needs.

- Customer Care Champion: Deliver exceptional service through email, SMS, and social channels. Answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Steak Lover and/or Meat Sommelier: Leverage your knowledge of steak cuts, aging processes, and cooking methods to guide customers towards the perfect selection for their preferences (and budget!).
- Team Leader: Inspire and mentor a team of customer care associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Operational Efficiency Expert: Analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to streamline processes for both customer care and steak recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaborator: Work with other departments to gain deeper product knowledge and support with receiving inventory, quality assurance, and administrative tasks
- Performance Mastermind: Conduct quality evaluations, manage CSAT scores, and provide regular feedback to empower your team to consistently exceed expectations.
- Escalation Expert: Step in and resolve complex customer issues, ensuring smooth resolution and maintaining positive relationships.
- Efficiency Champion: Analyze data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement innovative solutions to streamline processes and enhance team effectiveness.
You’ll Thrive If You:
- Have 1-2 years of management experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
- Have eCommerce customer care experience
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Are Tech Savvy: Experience with Zendesk, and team metrics reporting required and Looker experience is a plus.
- Enjoy coaching and developing others to reach their full potential.
- Have meticulous attention to detail and can thrive in a dynamic fast paced environment.
- Are passionate about customer service and have a strong understanding of best practices.
- Passionate about food and where your food comes from
- Bonus Points: Have a deep knowledge of steak cuts, aging, and cooking methods (but training can be provided!).
Starting Wage: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE , with potential for higher pay based on experience, Zendesk expertise, and meat knowledge.
Schedule:
Hours: 7am-3:30pm Saturday-Wednesday
Hybrid position with a mix of in-office (Dunmore) and remote work from home (Saturday only).
