About this role:

Crusoe is at the forefront of expanding hyperscale AI data center infrastructure and is actively doing so in Abilene, Texas and beyond. We have an opportunity for motivated construction professionals to be at the forefront of leading generational construction projects that will support our country’s efforts to remain the global leader in AI technology.

The Construction Manager, Controls and Commissioning will lead and oversee large-scale construction projects critical to Crusoe. As a key leader within the organization, you will ensure the successful delivery of multiple complex projects—on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

A Day In The Life:

  • You’ll be a part of a team delivering complex, hyperscale AI Data Centers

  • Lead the commissioning process for all data center systems, including mechanical, electrical, and controls systems

  • Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution

  • Oversee and manage third-party commissioning agents and subcontractors

  • Develop and implement commissioning plans and schedules that align with project goals

  • Conduct site inspections to verify that installations meet design specifications and quality standards

  • Facilitate functional testing of all critical systems, ensuring readiness for operations

  • Prepare and present commissioning progress reports to stakeholders

  • Document and archive all commissioning records, including test results, system manuals, and as-built documentation

  • Travel as needed (up to 30%) to oversee multiple project sites

  • You have a knack for building strong, productive relationships with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to drive project success

  • You thrive in managing multiple priorities simultaneously and excel at juggling schedules, budgets, and project details

  • You are proficient in construction management software like Procore, Primavera, or similar tools, using them to streamline and enhance project workflows

Compensation Range:
Compensation will be paid in the range of $200,000 - $300,000 base salary. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
