Cyclotron Road is a U.S. Department of Energy Lab-Embedded Entrepreneurship Program at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory that empowers entrepreneurial scientists to bring their innovations to market. The program provides fellows with a living stipend, research funding, and entrepreneurial training, enabling them to advance their projects in fields such as energy, agriculture, and manufacturing. Since its inception in 2015, Cyclotron Road has supported the advancement of 74 companies, raised over $1.85 billion in follow-on funding, and hired over 1400 employees, positioning itself as a leader in fostering scientific innovation and commercialization.
