We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior City Lead to manage our operations in Paris. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth site operations, fostering team stability, and ensuring excellent service quality. You'll lead a diverse, committed team and be the key point of contact in our Paris workshop. Additionally, you will serve as the all-rounding expert for Paris and our French market, championing operational excellence, and driving end-to-end improvements across the city and market

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Be a strong leader who can make independent decisions, coach teams, and steer the workshop towards operational excellence, including guiding and supporting the Paris workshop's operations, such as inventory management, supply ordering, and day-to-day functionality, ensuring each function runs smoothly.

  • Act as the operational expert for Paris, championing excellence across three key operational pillars ensuring alignment with strategic goals while driving end-to-end operational improvements.

  • Lead three direct reports who support you in managing the city's three pillars: Mechanic Operations, Field Operations, and Site and Safety Operations.

  • Indirectly oversee and coordinate a team of ~35 mechanics and field operations specialists in Paris.

  • Work closely with other teams, including Operations, Finance, Hardware, and Marketing, to ensure cohesive functioning and strategic alignment.

  • Be the go-to person for localizing marketing initiatives and customer communication for Paris, ensuring that all efforts resonate with the local market.

  • Take on varied daily responsibilities, including warehouse management, logistical challenges, and ensuring consistent workflow and resource availability.

  • Report on KPIs directly to the Head of Operations, providing insights and feedback to continually improve operational efficiency and stability.

  • Drive operational excellence, focusing on process improvement, efficiency, and sustainability in day-to-day tasks.

  • You will have experience in hiring decisions, onboarding new team members, and managing people matters to maintain team performance and alignment.

About You

  • You have 5+ years of business management experience in operations and people management in the operations space or a similar area. Experience in a rapidly changing environment, HR regulations, start-ups, or P&L ownership is a plus.

  • You have a demonstrated background in driving operational excellence, with a deep understanding of metrics, KPIs, and the levers to pull to drive results.

  • You possess advanced knowledge of warehouse operations and experience in managing blue-collar staff.

  • You love building top-tier teams and have a proven track record of developing and motivating your team to perform at their best.

  • You have advanced skills in Google Sheets, and knowledge of data is a major plus.

  • You are detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement, self-motivated, energetic, and have the drive and ability to learn new skills and grow with the role.

  • You are a French native speaker and fluent in English.

Role Location: Paris (90% on-site).
