dcbel Inc. (www.dcbel.energy) is a growing company developing technology and designing products that will make clean, efficient, and sustainable energy accessible to all — because everyone in the world deserves energy without compromise.

dcbel at the leading edge of the residential energy revolution, enabling decentralized energy consumption and production through its vertically integrated suite of energy hardware and software products, and their supporting infrastructure. Our flagship product, the dcbel Home Energy Station, is a small wall mounted device that gives everyone ownership over their energy supply by using solar power to charge their EV and home, unlocking their EV’s battery for backup power (V2H), and optimizing the energy flow between their solar panels, EVs, backup battery and the grid.

Interns at dcbel are working closely with experience professionals and Leads in their domain of expertise. Dcbel's professionals and manager are fully committed to create a challenging learning environment for the interns so the the can experiment and apply knowledge that they learned at school. Interns will collaborate important projects and depending on their profile, will sometimes be invited to take charge smaller projects of their own.

Key requirements

  • Full time student in a recognized Bachelor’s degree program. Preferably 2nd, 3rd and 4th year in a related program.
  • Be able to fully subscribe to our company policy related to Confidentiality, Surrender of Intellectual Property and Renunciation of Moral Rights (intellectual property).
  • Be able to be present "on-site" at our office. Internship are done in presence so maximize learning experience and interactions.

Bonus skills

  • Bilingual English and French written and spoken.
  • Ability to show prior commitment in extra-curricular activities such as students committee, high level sport involvements or academic competitions is considered as a asset.

Profile

  • Ability to learn, commit and deliver "on time" and "on target" projects.
  • Collaboration, strong communication skills and teamworking.
  • Strong professional and ethical conduct .
