Diamond Foundry is looking for a Human Resource Generalist to support the People Operations team in DF Spain, Zaragoza. This position will include a variety of tasks and responsibilities. The candidate will contribute to communication and initiatives across business units. The ideal candidate has proven experience in Human Resources, labour relations, and payroll, and values ​​processes, documentation, and confidentiality. This role will interface with stakeholders in Spain and the US regularly and requires a strong proficiency in both Spanish and English

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the full employee lifecycle, including employment contracts, labor documentation, and close coordination with the Payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll operations, while continuously improving HR processes and systems
  • Ensure the integrity and compliance of HR data by maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records—including hires, terminations, attendance, and time tracking—and proactively managing complex employee-related matters to support smooth HR operations and informed decision-making.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on labor relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and collective agreements, handling employee inquiries, supporting conflict resolution, and contributing to policy development and implementation.
  • Drive and support training and development initiatives, performance management processes, and cross-functional HR projects that strengthen company culture, employee engagement, internal communication, and well-being.
  • Support recruiting efforts such as interview coordination, and end-to-end onboarding and offboarding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Previous experience in generalist HR roles, with a focus on personnel administration and labour relations ( at least 3 years)
  • Knowledge in labour law, payroll management, HR tools, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluent conversational English, minimum B2 level.
  • Strong organisational skills, confidentiality, teamwork, effective communication, and interpersonal skills to interface with individuals of all levels, with the ability to work autonomously.
