About the Role

EarthSense is seeking a talented Computer Vision Engineer to develop perception solutions for autonomous robots in outdoor settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop perception algorithms for Level 5 autonomy in corn fields, solar farms, orchards, and more
• Develop tooling for training, inference, and edge deployment of neural networks
• Develop and use tools for data analytics
• R&D with new technologies in the rapidly growing field of AI
• Work with hardware and software engineers to deliver optimized robot solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelors, Masters, or Ph. D in computer science, AI, engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in vision and robotics

Required Skills

• Python, PyTorch, or other neural network frameworks
• Experience training and using neural networks
• OpenCV
• Git, Linux, Docker
• Some familiarity with classical computer vision

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with recent advances in AI, vision, and vision-language models
• ROS/ROS2
