Description

Element Energy is seeking a Human Resources Director to lead and oversee all aspects of the Human Resources (HR) function. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support business objectives, enhance company culture, and foster employee growth and engagement. The HR Director will manage talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, performance management, and organizational development while serving as a strategic advisor to company leadership.

This role requires prior experience managing HR functions within a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) model, including optimizing HR operations, benefits administration, and compliance through PEO partnerships. Additionally, expertise in Radford compensation data and compensation analysis is essential to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures aligned with industry benchmarks.

Credentials

  • Minimum of ten years of progressive human resource management experience, with at least three years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience working with PEOs, including managing vendor relationships and optimizing HR services.
  • Experience working with Radford compensation data, including compensation benchmarking, salary structure development, and total rewards analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives and support company growth.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, recruiting, and onboarding top talent.
  • Oversee and enhance employee development programs, including training, leadership development, and career progression initiatives.
  • Implement and oversee company-wide policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Lead performance management processes, including employee focal reviews, goal setting, and continuous feedback systems.
  • Manage compensation, benefits, and leave administration, ensuring competitive and equitable pay structures and benefit offerings.
  • Utilize Radford compensation data to conduct market benchmarking, analyze salary structures, and develop equitable pay strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on people-related strategies, workplace culture, and organizational development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement, collaboration, and diversity.
  • Handle complex employee relations matters, including dispute resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Monitor HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to proactively adjust policies and programs.
  • Evaluate HR technology systems (HRIS) to streamline HR operations and enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Represent the company in external HR matters, including partnerships, legal compliance discussions, and industry networking.
  • Oversee and manage PEO relationships, ensuring seamless HR service delivery, compliance, and benefits administration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
