Energy Dome is a company with revolutionary technology for large scale and long duration energy storage. We seek an Engineering Director to lead our global Engineering function and drive the execution and continuous evolution of our technology. Role Overview Lead all engineering disciplines (~30 professionals: Process, Mechanical & Equipment, Electrical, Automation & Controls, Piping & Layout, Drafting). Ensure coherence, quality, and efficiency of engineering outputs, and act as primary liaison between Engineering, Operations, Project Delivery, Product/Technology, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Organizational Management: provide strategic leadership; define org vision/structure/processes/priorities; build high-performing culture; mentor/coach. Engineering Governance & Delivery: oversee end-to-end workflow; set standards/methodologies/QC; align deliverables/specs/requirements; manage interfaces. Cross-Functional & Executive Liaison: counterpart to C-suite; coordinate with Operations, PM, Procurement, HSE, Product/Tech; translate strategy to plans; support BD/proposals. Global Project Support & EPC Logic: support EPC/EPCM partners; ensure compliance across geographies; risk/constructability/value engineering; support FAT/commissioning/field. Innovation & Continuous Improvement: promote digital tools/automation; collaborate with R&D/Product; integrate field feedback. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering; • 8+ years leadership in EPC/EPCM/power/energy storage/industrial plants/oil & gas; • Proven multidisciplinary team mgmt and lifecycle delivery; • Deep EPC workflows/governance/interface mgmt; • Bridge between technical teams and executives; • Leadership/communication/stakeholder skills; • Fluent English and Italian; on-site in Milan; international travel. Role location: Milan office, on site. Remuneration: €85,000–€105,000 gross + variable + benefits; “Dirigenza” level commensurate with seniority.
