Enzymit is a bioproduction company located in Rehovot, focused on designing and creating novel enzymes to streamline production processes, reduce costs, and promote sustainability. Using cell-free, synthetic biology bioproduction, Enzymit aims to make production faster, simpler, and more cost-effective for wide range of industries.

Role Summary:
As a Junior R&D scientist, you will play a key role in supporting our research and development. Your work will involve HPLC operations, development of filtration purification techniques, enzymatic assays and screening.

Key Responsibilities:

· HPLC Operations: Perform and analyze HPLC samples, maintain equipment, and contribute to the development of new HPLC analytical methods.

· Quality Control: Accurately measure and formulate reagent components while ensuring adherence to safety and operational protocols.

· Filtration R&D: Assist in the development and downstream production of essential materials using nano- and ultrafiltration devices.

· Enzymatic Assay: Conduct various enzymatic assays, determine enzyme reaction kinetics, and evaluate enzyme stability.

· Collaboration: Work closely with all R&D teams to achieve shared goals; participate in regular team meetings and project discussions, summarize findings, and present data.


Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field; alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent relevant industry experience.

Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.

Prior experience in enzyme biochemistry is a must.

Experience in HPLC operation is an advantage.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting is a must.

Organized, reliable, and capable of managing tasks efficiently.

Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
