See open jobs at FLO.See open jobs similar to "Field Service Technician - EV charging Stations" Climate Draft.FLO is looking for a Senior Regional Field Services Technician to join our Toronto team and be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of our electric vehicle charging stations networks. This exciting role will be primarily focused on field related activities including local and remote charging station fault diagnosis, repairs, and resolution. The role will also focus dispatching and managing contractors, performing onsite repairs, supporting existing and new customers with site surveys and installations of new charging products, and supporting factory failure analysis and validation.
YOUR DAILY RESPONSABILITIES:
• Manage on-site repairs and preventative maintenance tasks;
• Perform on-site repairs and training when required,
• Diagnose failures down to the component level remotely and onsite,
• Identify technical issues and determine repair procedure for electric vehicle charging equipment (remote and in the field);
• Provide customer service and support prior, during, and after field visits.
• Manage routine and preventative maintenance tasks associated with electric vehicle charging equipment,
• Collaborate in the creation of procedures to meet various technical requirements;
• Document processes and produce timely and detailed service reports for external and internal stakeholders;
• Manage all inventory related tasks including spare parts (locally and hosted with contractors), ordering, shipping, receiving;
• Cooperate with various internal technical teams and proactively share information within the organization;
• Be an ambassador to our customers and partners on behalf of FLO and our charging networks;
• Perform any other relevant duties.
ABOUT YOU
Education and Work Experience:
- 3-5 years of educational and work background in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficient knowledge of electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipments
Skills and Certifications:
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures and responsibilities.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to travel without restrictions.
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office.
- Prior customer service experience.
- Bonus: Experience in Electric Vehicle (EV) charging maintenance.
- Bonus: Familiarity with SSH and Starlink technologies.
Professional Experience:
- 3-5 years of field service experience.
- Willingness to occasionally travel overnight.
Technical Proficiency:
- Knowledge of EV technology and ownership of an EV is a bonus.

Additional Requirements:
- Familiarity with SSH and Starlink technologies.
- Passion for and ownership of an Electric Vehicle is a bonus.
