As the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing Fuse Energy's accounting operations, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and tax functions, while supporting broader business objectives. This is a hands-on role that requires you to manage multiple streams of financial activities, from day-to-day payroll and accounts payable/receivable, to complex projects such as regulatory reporting, multi-million-dollar solar installations, and M&A activities

• Accounting & Bookkeeping: Oversee all aspects of day-to-day accounting, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and the reconciliation of complex financial transactions
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Manage FP&A activities, providing timely, accurate financial forecasts and analysis to support key business decisions. Work closely with the business to ensure financial data reflects operational performance
• Tax Management: Handle all aspects of tax compliance and reporting, including corporate tax, and payroll taxes. Ensure that all filings are accurate and timely, minimising risk and identifying opportunities for tax optimisation
• Invoice & Transaction Management: Manage high-volume and complex invoices from various sources, including regulatory, rooftop solar installations, and other project-related expenses. Perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy
• Strategic Finance Support: Act as a key advisor on business opportunities, providing detailed financial insights and ensuring that decisions align with Fuse’s cost-driven business model. Participate in margin calls for trading activities and analyse large-scale financial projects, including acquisitions and product expansions
• Ad Hoc Reporting & Projects: Provide financial analysis and reporting for special projects, including but not limited to M&A activities and funding rounds
