QCELLS Enable is the renewable energy EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) branch of Qcells for the DG (Distributed Generation) market. Our mission is to be a world class designer and installer of large scale PV and ESS systems throughout the US. Our position as a leading module manufacturer means we are able to offer end-to-end solutions for project developers and owners. We are expanding our organization and have several open positions currently.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Proposal Analyst is responsible for managing the entire workflow throughout the process of preparing a bid set for public sector clients and/or generating customer proposals by aggregating information from vendor outreach, engineering drawings, project build cost, and Salesforce.
This position reports to the Head of Preconstruction or another senior management personnel that the President of the Company may designate. This position is based out of Manhattan, New York temporarily and will eventually work out of our Teaneck, NJ office.
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 (based on experience) + bonus
RESPONSIBILITES
- Manage workflow of new opportunities in Salesforce
- Complete new project intake and verify adequacy of information provided by customers
- Collaborate with development engineering, estimating, and sales team to ensure timely completion of proposals
- Perform due diligence into new markets including rebate programs, labor programs, and regulatory landscape
- Communicate with government agencies directly for any regulatory ambiguities
- Maintain vendor and subcontractor database and ensure completion of NDAs/T&Cs
- Assist with preparation of EPCA appendices and LNTP documents by working with engineering, project management, and legal teams
- Lead and coordinate search for local suppliers and contractors during new market research
- Develop basic financial models for direct sales projects
- Assist sales team in pre-qualification process for new client intake
- Perform various cost data collection and analysis
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience as a paralegal
- Basic understanding of databases and desire to learn
- Familiarity with Salesforce or another CRM
- Organized, detail-oriented, with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required among construction, technical and non-technical personnel, both internally and outside the company
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving and dynamic environment
- Strong work ethic and prioritization skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience generating technical sales proposals
- Understanding of basic terms of construction contracts
- Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings
- Experience working in the electrical or renewable energy sector
- Understanding of financial modeling
- Understanding of major electrical equipment/components
