POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Hanwha Qcells America Inc seeks an experienced and energetic Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to lead financial planning and risk analysis functions for the Corporate consolidate level as one stop Energy Solution Provider on Residential & Commercial Community and Industrial sectors including solar energy service business, Development and EPC, and Solar financing business. This is a high-visibility, high-impact position on a fast-growing team with an opportunity to contribute to overall strategy and success of the business. Major responsibilities include financial planning and analysis to successfully manage the overall business profitability, cashflow and liquidity models.
In this role you will need to be creative and collaborative with problem solving skills and execute team-wide initiatives, working closely with Corporate planning team, Suply chain management team and sales team. So, the ideal candidate is a motivated team-player who is both detail-oriented and able to contribute to overall strategic vision. Communicating with internal and external stakeholders is key and experience in the fintech lending sector is a strong plus. This position will be based out of our office location in Irvine, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Management
- Take ownership of the company's integrated financial model (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow). Lead the forecasting, reporting, and analysis of working capital, Balance Sheet performance, and Free Cash Flow.
- Lead and assist all aspects of P&L and Cashflow forecasting and reporting, including driving the monthly, quarterly and annual planning cycles based on the sales planning and risk management analysis.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process and recurring monthly/quarterly financial forecasts. Partner with business leaders across the organization to ensure forecast accuracy and align financial plans with strategic objectives.
- Build and manage financial analysis activities including modeling, dashboards and reporting packages (including ad hoc) in various environments.
- Executive Reporting
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance analyses to senior management and the board of directors. Monitor key financial metrics (KPIs) and trends to provide deep insights into business performance.
- Build and manage key required business models including Balance sheet, P&L and cashflow.
- Strategic Analysis and Decision Support:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and business case modeling to support key strategic decisions, including new business initiatives, investments, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A).
- Identify and monitor key financial and operational metrics/benchmarks, business risks, and new opportunities.
- Process Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting methodologies and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead any ad hoc special projects for the team as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or another business-related field with a minimum of 8+ years of professional work experience in FP&A or related field.
- Korean Bilingual - Required
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Self-motivated leadership and team player and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical skills and relentless attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and ability to research, identify, and troubleshoot problems independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt and work well in a fast-paced work environment as well as accept and learn from feedback quickly.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- CPA and professional experience at an accounting firm.
- 7+ years of professional experience in accounting related field.
