We are looking for a Finance Control Manager to join our Finance Control team to provide accounting support. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, treasury, and taxation and will work closely with corporate finance team, commercial team, and Qcells HQ in South Korea. This position will be based in San Francisco, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete monthly closing tasks assigned by the Team leader, including clarifying and allocating Work in Process or SG&A
Manage reports for WIP, AP/AR Aging, inter-company transactions, and Trial Balance
Perform daily accounting operations, including journal entries, payroll entries, and account reconciliations.
Prepare documentation for auditing
Compile tax workpapers (tax PBCs) for the tax department of Hanwha Affiliates, subject to the Team leader’s review.
Provide backup support to other finance control team members.
Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Management or the Team leader
Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Associates degree with 7+ years professional work experience or a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field with 3+ years of professional work experience with a minimum of +3 years of progressive experience in accounting and/or finance.
Strong understanding of month-end and year-end processes required
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and technical accounting standards.
Strong experience with SAP systems
Advanced Excell skills for data analysis and reporting
Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment under strict deadlines

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide.
