What we're looking for
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Supply Chain. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of supply chain management within the agriculture and mining sectors, along with a proven track record of optimizing processes and driving operational excellence. As the Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations, from sourcing and procurement to distribution and logistics. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring seamless coordination between our agricultural and mining activities, optimizing inventory levels, and implementing sustainable practices.
The right candidate will be a strategic thinker, adept at identifying opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and efficiency improvements, while also demonstrating exceptional leadership skills to manage and inspire a diverse team. Profil
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Agriculture, Biotechnology, or a related field
- Additional training or certifications specific to supply chain management, sustainable agriculture, or mining are highly regarded
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with proven expertise in supply chain management, preferably within the agriculture and mining sectors
- Experience in implementing large-scale supply chain strategies
- A proven track record of effective leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
- Excellent communicator with proven negotiation and relationship management skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment and make informed decisions under pressure

Key responsabilities
- End-to-End Supply Chain Management: Lead the entire supply chain operations, ensuring seamless integration between our innovative agricultural and mining practices
- Strategic Leadership: Develop supply chain strategies that align with Genomines' mission of sustainable, eco-friendly mining practices
- Relationship Building: Foster strong connections with suppliers and partners, particularly within the agriculture and mining sectors
- Continuous Improvement: Harness your expertise in agriculture and mining to refine and optimize our supply chain processes
- Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain vulnerabilities in the agromining sector and design robust mitigation strategies
- Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and manage a diverse team, driving them towards operational excellence in line with our mission
- Sustainable Practices: Implement eco-friendly and sustainable supply chain practices that align with our goal of carbon-negative mining
- Reporting: Regularly update senior management on supply chain performance, challenges, and opportunities
