Job Overview

The GridX Solutions team is looking for a Business Analyst to dive into the details that lead to successful implementations for our energy sector clients.

The ideal candidate will have a technical skillset, a passion for the energy industry and a deep desire to learn. The Business Analyst will work within our Solutions organization and closely collaborate with our Delivery teams on client implementations. You will be the go-to resource for data insights, requirement mapping and software issue investigation. Business Analysts become expert users of the GridX Platform and Products allowing multiple pathways for growth.

Responsibilities

• Support the onboarding of new utility clients onto the GridX Platform​
• Educate new clients about GridX products, assisting them with account setup and configurations
• Participate in regular project status calls as determined by the project manager
• Respond to client requests and inquiries via chat, email, and phone, providing timely and accurate assistance
• Maintain relationships with new clients from product setup through implementation, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and success
• Troubleshoot data issues, rate calculations, and software issues to ensure clients are able to meet their business objectives
• Provide data analytics to internal teams
• Test APIs, workflows and new product features
• Facilitate a seamless transition from onboarding to customer success management
• Limited travel (5-10%) may be required for initial onboarding and training

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Ability to investigate large datasets using Python, SQL and/or Excel
• Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with SaaS platforms, APIs, and cloud ecosystems, i.e., AWS
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the utilities or energy industry, with knowledge of clean energy initiatives and programs
• Prior experience with rate structures, billing processes, and/or energy data analysis
• Familiarity with startup SaaS culture and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Experience with Jira, project management tools, and/or customer support platforms
• Experience using AI tools to augment technical capabilities

Compensation

Compensation is based on your specific location, and, for this position, may range from $80,000 to $100,000/year base salary + benefits/perks. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on skill set, qualifications, experience and location.
