We have built a membrane factory that is unique in the world, where we manufacture our units that provide solutions for the hydrogen transport problem.

For our development we rely on the local industrial ecosystem and top-level international investors.

We have developed a technology of membrane reactors for the separation and production of hydrogen in situ from different feedstocks, such as ammonia, methanol, formic acid, syngas from waste…

The Opportunity:

As an Intellectual Property Rights Manager, you’ll get to:

  • Define and implement IPR strategies in alignment with H2SITE strategy.
  • Advice and support on Industrial Property issues at H2SITE.
  • Lead the management of own patent portfolio (review of patent applications, analysis and response of official actions, oppositions, etc).
  • Own, define and implement processes to ensure IPR is protected in all external publications and in all contracts and agreements.
  • Coordinate our patent database searches for patentability analysis and non-infringement studies.
  • Ensure that H2SITE is represented appropriately at IPR professional forums.
  • Support in preparation and negotiation of technology license agreements.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience working on intellectual property protection, preferably in the field of renewable energy.
  • Engineering Degree (Industrial, Chemical, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of IPR/patenting and/or technology licensing activities.
  • Knowledge of IP law and practice internationally.
  • Highly valuable: Additional training in IP and H2 technology.
  • You’re a doer, comfortable working in a constantly changing start-up environment.
  • Team player.
  • Fluent English (verbal and written). Spanish is a plus.
